How does the LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 hydration tracking system work?
The cap has a built-in sensor for hydration tracking. After filling the bottle and screwing on the cap, place the bottle on a flat table. The cap will glow a white light indicating that a measurement has been taken; this can take up to 5s after placing it on the table.
Hydration tracking works best with cold or room-temperature liquids. Hot liquids will fog up the sensors and tracking will not be accurate.

How does the sensor know when a new filter is installed?
When replacing your filter with a new one, you will need to reset the filter tracking in the App to accurately track the volume of water filtered through and flow rate for smart filter replacement.

There’s no need to put the LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 in the fridge since it’s double-wall insulated. To keep drinks cold, add ice into the bottle instead.

How do I clean the LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2?
Remove the filter from the filter pod. Then, give your PureVis™ 2 Cap and filter straw attachment a warm soapy rinse every 1-2 weeks, especially in the mouth area where the UV technology doesn’t reach. It’s also a good idea to wash the LARQ Bottle with warm soapy water once a month (for example, while your PureVis™ Cap is charging) for a quick reset. Do not put the PureVis™ 2 Cap in the dishwasher.

Can I use the LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 in the backcountry?
Yes! For use in the backcountry, first, take out the Filter Straw and use PureVis™ Adventure Mode (double-click) on its own. Then, put the Filter Straw back in. Finally, fill with water that is clear to the eyes with no sediments.
As a rule of thumb in the backcountry or on hikes, stick to running water sources such as rivers, streams, or waterfalls, further away from vegetation.

We offer a 1-year limited warranty to repair or replace any defective material or component. It does not cover any issues due to normal wear and tear, misuse, or loss/theft of the product. (2-year warranty where local regulations stipulate).

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
